Cassidy Peters, Therapist

Cassidy completed her undergraduate work at Pacific University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Cassidy graduated from the University of San Francisco with her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy. Cassidy is a California registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences – AMFT134119.

Throughout her career, Cassidy has worked in a variety of settings including: multidisciplinary clinics, intensive outpatient, outpatient, in-home, partial hospitalization, and private practice. Within these settings, Cassidy has provided: individual psychotherapy, psychoeducation, relationship counseling, behavioral modification, group therapy, and family therapy services.

Cassidy is an empathetic and culturally sensitive therapist with an eclectic approach to therapy. Cassidy draws on multiple theoretical orientations to best suit the client on their healing journey. Cassidy believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is crucial, while integrating interventions that rewrite and reclaim core-beliefs that keep clients in maladaptive cycles/patterns of behavior. Cassidy holds the belief that people are not meant to navigate difficult life circumstances alone. Cassidy is here to support you and assist you in creating a treatment plan that is right for you.

Cassidy spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, listening to live music, hanging out with her friends and family, and engaging in artistic and creative pursuits.
